2020 has been a tough year for everyone, especially after the outbreak of Covid19, a cure/vaccine for which has not yet been identified.

Many people are finding it extremely hard to stay at home and they feel that self-isolation is not going to help. To be honest, it’s better to be safe than sorry, and this is genuinely the best opportunity to give your family the time and attention that you haven’t been able.

Staying at home 24x7 can sometimes even be strenuous. As it’s tough to decide what to do and how not to get into petty fights with family members. But don’t worry we have a lot of suggestions for you guys which will help you all spent your time doing something or the other constructive.

Learn New Courses Online

Due to the lockdown, educational institutions are conducting several online courses and this is the best time to enroll yourself into one you’ve always wanted to learn but couldn’t due to other responsibilities. You can sit in your pajamas and get on with classes at the comfort of your home, plus it would be pretty cost-efficient.

Indoor Work-Out

One plus point of this quarantine is that you can wake up at your leisure, exercise and then get onto your work. There’s no need to rush as there is no deadline for reaching to work on time. You can do a lot of fun exercises at home and keep your body active.

Family Time

This is the best time to nullify your family members’ complaints of you not spending enough time with them. Play games like Monopoly, Ludo, Snakes & Ladder, and Dumb Charades, etc. You also get to re-connect with your family members.

Clean The Clutter

We all have something or the other that either needs some organizing or needs to be chucked out of the house. Make use of this time and rearrange your closet, cabinets, drawers and even your fridge. You can donate the things you don’t use, to people who are in need.

The nationwide lockdown has made it difficult for us to eat our favorite dishes from our favorite restaurants. But there’s no need to regret this as this is the perfect time to broaden your culinary skills by practicing some healthy recipes.

This is honestly the best time to take out your stash of books which you haven’t been able to read for a long time due to your busy schedule.

Sleep Well

To stay healthy & active an adult requires at least 6-7hrs of sleep but due to the packed schedules that we live in it’s extremely difficult to maintain a good sleeping habit. Make the most of this quarantined time and take complete rest. Sleep as much as you can!!

Reconnect

During this time of social distancing, it is necessary to connect with all friends and family virtually. Get all your friends and family on group video calls and play games, crack jokes, in fact just catch up on everything you’ve missed out. Just be connected to everyone that matters.

Netflix & Chill

Okay so, each and everyone has a list of TV Series or Movies that one hasn’t been able to watch. Use this time to catch up with all the splendid shows and movies. And to keep all your popcorn ready as you’re going to binge-watch everything.

DIY Projects

The internet is filled with multiple activities that can take up a lot of your free time. The number of DIY(Do It Yourself) projects that you can find online, will keep you intrigued to keep on trying new stuff to make. And there are a lot of activities in which you can involve your family as well.


These are a lot of different ways in which you can keep yourselves occupied and away from unwanted quarrels at home.

Staying at home is no longer just a suggestion, it has become a necessity as it is the only way we can keep ourselves protected from this virus.
